The Dobbs Ferry Schools Foundation has pledged $50,000 for each of the next four years to the District, so that the foreign language program in Springhurst can be enhanced.

The Foundation believes in the benefits of a FLES (Foreign Language in Elementary School) program, including improved competence and confidence in another language and a greater knowledge, understanding and respect for other cultures that stems from this competence. Our support for this program is in keeping with the strategic goals defined by the administration and our desire to work in concert with the District to continuously enhance the opportunities given to Dobbs Ferry students

The Dobbs Ferry Schools Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation registered with the Charities Bureau of the NY State Attorney General's office. All contributions to the Foundation are deductible for New York State tax purposes, and will be deductible for Federal tax purposes pending a final determination by the Internal Revenue Service of the Foundation's tax-exempt status.
