CONTEST RULES

This is a limited raffle in which only 999 tickets will be sold. 

Each ticket will cost $99.00. 

The grand prize drawing will take place at the
DFSF Annual Gala on March 5, 2010.

 

Provided that over 600 tickets are sold, there will be one grand prize winner who may select either:

 

$35,000.00 to be spent on the car(s)/motorcycle(s) of his/her choice

OR

$25,000.00 in cash.

There will be three early bird winners of $500 each awarded as follows:  one on October 9th, 2009, at halftime of the Dobbs Ferry football game and two on December 31, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.   Early bird winners are still eligible for the grand prize drawing. 

If fewer than 600 tickets are sold, the raffle reverts to a 50/50 raffle in which the winner gets 50% of the gross ticket sales.

If the winner chooses to take the vehicle, the DFSF will make the payment to the dealer of the winner’s choosing.  The winner may select any model or additional features for their car.  The DFSF will pay $35,000.00 directly to the dealer.  The winner must pay any/all applicable taxes, registration fees and any additional expenses in excess of $35,000.00.  Raffle proceeds may not be used to pay taxes or registration fees.  Any amount less than $35,000.00 will be forfeited by the winner.

If the winner chooses to take the $25,000.00 in cash, he or she is responsible for any/all taxes on these winnings.

Winners will be contacted via telephone immediately following drawings. 

Winning ticket numbers will be posted on our website:  www.dfsfoundation.org. 

Winner need not be present at drawing.  Raffle is open to citizens or permanent residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.  Subject to the maximum number of tickets (999), there is no limit to the number of tickets that may be purchased by any individual.  DFSF assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or undelivered entry forms.  Void where prohibited.
